Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the ATS Score service at getatsscore.com (the "Service"), operated by Ouyikai Technology Co., Ltd. trading as ATS Score ("we", "us"). By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

The Service analyses a resume you supply and produces (a) a score against a set of deterministic formatting and content checks, (b) a list of keywords present in a job description but missing from your resume, and (c) optionally, a rewritten version of your resume content.

3. What the Service is not

This matters more than anything else on this page. Please read it.

• We are not a recruiter, an employer or a career agency. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, callbacks or any particular outcome. No resume tool can.
• Our score is not an industry standard. It reflects our own published criteria. Employers and applicant tracking systems use their own, undisclosed rules. A high score from us is a signal, not a promise.
• We do not verify your content. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness and legality of everything in the resume you submit.
• We are not a legal, immigration or tax advisor. Nothing here is professional advice for your jurisdiction.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• Submit a resume that is not yours, or that you do not have permission to use.
• Use the Service to create misleading, fraudulent or discriminatory application material.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or benchmark the Service without written consent.
• Circumvent payment, share unlocked reports publicly, or resell access.
• Upload malware or content that infringes anyone's rights.

5. Pricing, payment and taxes

Paid tiers are described on the paywall page and are one-time charges unless the tier is expressly labelled otherwise. We do not operate auto-renewing subscriptions on the paid report tiers.

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem, which acts as the legal seller of record for your purchase. It collects the applicable VAT, GST or sales tax based on your billing country, issues your invoice, and appears on your card statement. When you buy, you also agree to that provider's buyer terms.

6. Refunds

Our refund policy is set out in full at Refunds. In summary: if the report fails to generate, or you are charged twice, you get a full refund. Beyond that we offer a discretionary refund within 7 days, because the deliverable is digital and delivered instantly.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including the criteria behind the score. Where a change materially reduces what you already paid for, we will refund you.

8. Intellectual property

Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership over your resume or the job descriptions you paste. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process them and return a result.

The Service itself — its check engine, scoring methodology, interface and text — is our property, protected by copyright. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that the score reflects any particular employer's system, or that any output will improve your job prospects.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost employment, lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms or from content you submitted, including any claim that your resume infringed someone else's rights or misrepresented your background.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates a legal or security risk.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts of Shenzhen, China have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
